Our mission

Are you that special person who - weary from trudging the endless superhighways - just longs to camp next to a glorious oasis of the mind? Do you desire to explore new frontiers, splash in shared ideas, fill your belly with the refreshing fruits of inspiration, and bask in the gentle rays of fond reflection?

Well, you can fuck right off. This, my friends, is not that place. This place is... The ShadowLands.

The templates are a changin'

To better reflect the widely acknowledged status of this blog as being way cooler than many "popular" web-sites, the ShadowLands will be celebrating the new year with a new way, way cool template.

Since our crack IT team are currently in Miami working on their tans, and MM is all but technologically illiterate, this may involve a bit of mucking around. Sorry in advance.

Regular posting to resume soon. Happy New Year to all readers of the ShadowLands.

Maybe one day when the laws become more tolerant, 1.6, since I am probably a lady.

(I'm pretending that 1.618 probably meant to address that second part to me.) Margos, a long time ago at timblair.net 1.6 asked if you were boy chopper pilot or a girl chopper pilot and you responded "I'm a lady" and posted a picture. If you have any idea what I'm talking about then you should repost that picture.

Colonel

If memory serves it was a rather well-figured cross-dressing wonder woman, but dashed if I can find that old picture.

Colonel and 1.6? This would be the blogging wedding of the decade!

I was thinking of a woman outside wearing an older style dress (Victorian style, maybe. It was either an extra homely woman or a guy in drag)

The end of year aught is usually considered the end of the decade, so that gives me 103 weeks to seduce and romance her. Wish me luck and be sure to tell her how wonderful I probably am (and mention to her that I'm not typical).
