Our mission

Are you that special person who - weary from trudging the endless superhighways - just longs to camp next to a glorious oasis of the mind? Do you desire to explore new frontiers, splash in shared ideas, fill your belly with the refreshing fruits of inspiration, and bask in the gentle rays of fond reflection?

Well, you can fuck right off. This, my friends, is not that place. This place is... The ShadowLands.

July 11

The ShadowLands recently had a visitor from Mongolia, who I can only assume must be attending Naadam.

Youtube reveals that Naadam is a mixture of way cool horse racing across open fields and big blokes wearing blue budgie smugglers. There should be more of it - Happy Naadam Day.

Great stuff MM.
loved the horse racing, must have been over ten kays at least.

Have been to Mongolia in 86
the steppes are beautiful in springtime!

Joined Pravda blog, but too many crazies there for my liking.
Let me know when you stir them up next.
Cheers

Okay, that was pretty interesting (blue budgie smugglers), although a typical wrestling American audience would probably find it slow and boring (and a little bit uncomfortable, what with them grabbing each other's Speedos for purchase).

Even so, I see a cultural kinship with sumo here (with actual muscles and not so much flab).

There are some things a wrestler could grab that would be more uncomfortable. For example.

There were some nifty hats in that video.

Er, thanks Colonel, I think...

Orion - Thanks for your efforts. It is extremely difficult to be stupid enough in the Pravda blog to stand out...but I will keep trying.
