The central western NSW town of Oberon has been hit by global warming overnight, according to leading newspaper, the Sydney Morning Herald.
While some argue that more carbon in the atmosphere will benefit the town by increasing forestry growth, and having flow on effects to the town's important truck driver-servicing prostitution industry, others are concerned that warming will kill fishes, as displayed in this sculpture.
Well, that clears that up

Clearly global warming is real, and all the deniers (including me) were wrong. Next time someone says to you that "there is no consensus" or "there is no evidence that carbon dioxide causes warming", tell them to Google Oberon.
Make sure you say it with a knowing, mysterious wink.
"... but, but, what about Oberon?" they will say.
"Just look it up," you should responde, and leave it at that.
It seems that this news item is not catching on. Do people have no sense of perspective? I worry for our children.
My father-in-law, rest his soul, would have put that sculpture on his den wall and bragged that he caught it.
