Satire defined

Useful idiot, Meredith Burgmann helped to get her nephew - one of the chaps from The Chaser - permission to visit North Korea. This is how:
"It meant taking Charles down to the North Korean embassy in Canberra [since closed], making him behave himself, and helping explain what satire was - making fun of George Bush," she said.

Maybe that comment wasn't serious. Maybe they were satirising themselves for their own political bias, and for the reflexive leftist tripe that so many comedians demonstrate.
