It seems that the Captain, in his wisdom, had Tennille cloned to serve as one of the back up singers. One can only assume the other back up singer is a clone of the Captain using identical copies of his X chromosome.
That whole eurovision thing...I can't tell if they're serious or it's an elaborate gong show. I usually have a reliable irony meter.
