Our mission

Are you that special person who - weary from trudging the endless superhighways - just longs to camp next to a glorious oasis of the mind? Do you desire to explore new frontiers, splash in shared ideas, fill your belly with the refreshing fruits of inspiration, and bask in the gentle rays of fond reflection?

Well, you can fuck right off. This, my friends, is not that place. This place is... The ShadowLands.

Last chance to save planet clarification

CORRECTION: Previous items we posted may have suggested that Rio, Johannesburg, Bali, Bangkok, and Poznan, were each the last chances to save the planet.

However, the European Union Environment Commissioner has confirmed that the last chance to save the planet is actually Copenhagen.

This means that the next conference, post-Copenhagen, has not yet been scheduled nor a venue decided.
Will they be honest and describe it as The First Of Many Junkets To Chat About Our Former Planet?

Reminds me of Michael Palin's Inquisitor.

"We have one chance to save the planet: in Rio. Rio, and Jonannesburg. Um, two chances to save the planet..." etc.

We've got to be united to save earth! Earth Hour is practiced at large scale in all developed and developing countries but there has been more publicity and awareness this year, as well as participation from large corporations like http://www.commit21.com/ which is a good sign - that there is still hope and that people still care!

Let's all do this, no matter where you are! Saturday, 28 March 2009. Lights off from 8.30pm to 9.30pm!
