Our mission

Are you that special person who - weary from trudging the endless superhighways - just longs to camp next to a glorious oasis of the mind? Do you desire to explore new frontiers, splash in shared ideas, fill your belly with the refreshing fruits of inspiration, and bask in the gentle rays of fond reflection?

Well, you can fuck right off. This, my friends, is not that place. This place is... The ShadowLands.

Awareness raised

So, it turns out that in his quest to paddle to the North Pole, adventurer Lewis Pugh only made it as far as 81 degrees north. Since the North Pole is at 90 degrees north, by my calculations, he was about 1000 kilometres short. In other words, the ice that Lewis said might not exist at the North Pole, existed for the same distance required to travel from Sydney to Brisbane.

Confusingly, Pugh described himself as disappointed, but consoled himself with meals of duck in red wine sauce. Hilariously, a number of schoolchildren around the world were following the expedition on a map.
