The Taliban has claimed responsibility for murdering Afghan women's rights activist, Sitara Achakzai outside Kandahar.

Says Germaine Greer:

Susan Ryan (and others) on Life Matters the other day was saying that the cases of Rau and Solon (both unidentifiable frootloops at the time they were detained and /or deported) proved that Australia really should lift its game Human Rights-wise.
